Feedback boards
A public board where users submit ideas, vote, and comment via email-verified accounts.
The public feedback board lets your users submit ideas, vote, and comment without creating an account — only email verification is required for commenting. Open it from Feedback → Board.
Listing view
The board page shows:
- Title (default "Feature Board" — rename in Brand settings)
- "Posts published" count
- Settings button and + New Post button
- Search posts… input + Status filter + Sort (Trending / etc.)
Each row shows: vote count, title, status pill, requests count (linked internal feedback), comment count, time ago.
Inside a post
Click any post to open the detail drawer:
- Header — title, vote count, requests count, comment count, Edit / … / Close
- Body — rich text description
- Right rail (DETAILS) — Status, Category, Visibility (Public / Internal), Tags, Created by
- TIMELINE — Created and Updated timestamps, Public ID for share URLs

Status pills
Posts move through statuses controlled by your project's workflow. Default statuses include:
- Open
- Under Review
- Planned
- In Progress
- Completed
- Declined
Each has its own color. Status changes are reflected publicly within seconds.
Public comments — verified-user model
Comments are open to anyone with the board URL, but each comment is verified by email:
- Visitors enter their email, get a one-time code, then can comment
- Comments show with a KNOWN USER badge once verified
- Team members' comments show with a TEAM badge
Replies are one level deep — visitors can reply to comments, but not nest further.
Board settings
Open Board → Settings to control public behavior:

| Accept suggestions | Let visitors submit new feature ideas. Submissions go to Feedbacks for your team to review. |
| Allow comments | Let verified visitors comment on published posts. |
| Allow replies | Let visitors reply to each other's comments (one level deep). |
| Allow comment attachments | Images, video, and files on comments. Off by default — recommended unless you actively moderate. |
| Comment rate limit (per email / 24h) | How many comments a single verified email can post on one board item per day. Default: 15. |
| Suggestion rate limit (per email / 24h) | How many new suggestions a single email can submit per day. Default: 5. |
Linking to the backlog
Promote a post to a backlog item from the post drawer. The backlog item links back to the post permanently; status changes on the backlog item can flow back to the post's public status.
Public URL
The board's public URL is shown on Project Settings → Brand. With a custom domain, users see it at your own subdomain (e.g. talk.yourcompany.com).
