Workflow
Decide where new work items go when your team acts on feedback or survey responses.
Project Settings → Workflow controls the default destination for new work items.
When a teammate promotes a feedback post or survey response to a work item, they choose between two paths:
| Path | What happens |
|---|---|
| ChirpBack backlog | Item lands in ChirpBack's Backlog. Triage there, sync to a PM tool later. |
| Direct to PM tool | Item goes straight into your tracker as a new issue / card / task. |
Each per-click can override the default — Workflow just sets the starting point.
Supported PM tools
- Jira — picks a project (e.g.
TP) and a task type - Linear — picks an organization and team
- Asana — picks a project
- Trello — picks a board
The integration card for the active default shows Default badge and the configured target. Other connected tools sit beside it as "Set" — ready to be picked per-action.
Setting the default
- Open Project Settings → Workflow
- Click a tool tile or ChirpBack backlog
- If a PM tool, click Edit target to pick the destination (project / team / board)
- Click Save default
You can clear a tool's saved target from the right-hand panel.
Recent push activity
The bottom of the Workflow page lists the last 10 items pushed to PM tools — direct or via the backlog. Each row shows the destination tool, ticket reference, source, and timestamp.
